A clinic program designed for young children being introduced to the game.
This program is normally 8 weeks with a program that mixes a repetitive program and games which helps younger children with confidence and learning. Expected start Early September.
Sessions
-Coed
-Led by Professional Trainers Saturdays at Gillis Field (Talmadge Park)
-Times 9-9:45am 10-10:45am - younger players will be earlier, older players later - determined based on mix of enrollment
-45 minute sessions total
- Younger Session - Players are broken into smaller groups for various games (obstacle course, simon says, mother may I, clear the forest)
- Older Session - players will play small sided games, followed by skill sessions, then ending with more small sided games..
-Equipment
-Supplied: shirt (distributed to players to keep), soccer balls for each session
-Required: shin guards under socks
-optional: cleats (EHYS has a bin we keep of donated cleats for players to take if they need them).
We need Parent Volunteers to help manage weekly sessions.
Parents are not expected to run the practice but help the trainers throughout the session.

Specifically designed to introduce the game to U7-U10 players.

Sessions
-boys and girls split in different groups as number allows
-1 night of practice minimum ( Boys on tues/ Girls on thurs) 5:30-6:30 for younger ages, 6:30-7:30 for older ages
If we have enough volunteer coaches to work with our professional coaches, we'll add a 2nd practice - i.e. players will be offered tuesdays and thurdays.
- led by Professional Trainer with parent coaches.
Players can train with either group if they have availability conflicts.
-Games on Saturday Mornings/Early afternoon with possible weeknight games at the scheduled practice times - run by parent coaches and Victory coaches with oversight as needed.
-Game Times 9am-2pm normally
-Eight (8) games
-Small Sided Games (4v4/5v5) to encourage more touches on the ball and more FUN.
Teams:
-5-10 Players (the smaller the teams the more fun for the kids)
Equipment:
-shirt (distributed to players)
Required: shin guards covered by socks, size 3 BALL for U8 and younger, size 4 for U9/U10 (league has soccer balls for players that dont have them/forget them).
Highly Encouraged: Soccer cleats (EHYS has a bin we keep of donated cleats for players to take if they need them).
Please note: EHYS. does not guarantee a specific amount of practices. Weather can be a factor and make-up practices are not guaranteed.
