2026 Spring EHYS Recreational In Town Programs

Micros Program - Players born in 2020-2022 (Fee - $75)

A clinic program designed for young children being introduced to the game.

This program is a normally 8 weeks with a program that mixes a repetitive program and games which helps younger children with confidence and learning. Expected start mid to late April.

Sessions
-Coed
-Led by Professional Trainers Saturdays at Gillis Field (Talmadge Park)
-Times 9-9:45am 10-10:45am - younger players will be earlier, older players later - determined based on mix of enrollment
-Eight (8) (as weather permits - EHYS plans for 10-11 weeks of available weeks)
-45 minute sessions total
-Players are broken into smaller groups for various games (obstacle course, simon says, mother may I, clear the forest) for the first half followed by Small Sided Games (3v3, 4v4) for the older kids to encourage more touches on the ball and more FUN.

-Equipment
-Supplied: shirt (distributed to players to keep), soccer balls for each session
-Required: shin guards under socks
-optional: cleats (EHYS has a bin we keep of donated cleats for players to take if they need them).

We need Parent Volunteers to help manage weekly sessions.
Parents are not expected to run the practice but help the trainers throughout the session.

In-House League - Players born in 2016-2020 (Fee $135)

Specifically designed to introduce the game to U6-U10 players.

Sessions
-boys and girls split in different groups as number allows
-1 night of practice minimum ( Boys on tues/ Girls on thurs) 5:30-6:30 for younger ages, 6:30-7:30 for older ages
If we have enough volunteer coaches to work with our professional coaches, we'll add a 2nd practice - i.e. players will be offered tuesdays and thurdays.
- led by Professional Trainer with parent coaches.

Players can train with either group if they have availability conflicts.
-Games on Saturday Mornings/Early afternoon with possible weeknight games at the scheduled practice times - run by parent coaches and Victory coaches with oversight as needed.
-Game Times 9am-2pm normally
-Eight (8) games
-Small Sided Games (4v4/5v5) to encourage more touches on the ball and more FUN.

Teams:
-5-10 Players (the smaller the teams the more fun for the kids)

Equipment Supplied:
-shirt (distributed to players)
Required: shin guards covered by socks, size 3 BALL for U8 and younger, size 4 for U9/U10 (league has soccer balls for players that dont have them/forget them).
Highly Encouraged: Soccer cleats (EHYS has a bin we keep of donated cleats for players to take if they need them).

Please note: EHYS. does not guarantee a specific amount of practices. Weather can be a factor and make-up practices are not guaranteed.

2026 Spring EHYS Travel Soccer Program - U10-U19 Girls and U10-U14 Boys

East Haven Youth Soccer Travel program is for players turning 10-19 in 2026.

Final team age groupings will be determined based on registrations.

Age group registrations can go on waiting lists (especially U12 (2014 and younger) once the single team registration limits are reached.

U10 (birth year 2016) players can alternatively play in-house league (a different registration program), travel teams are for more experienced players.
Parents are encouraged to volunteer as coaches/assistant coaches.

FEE = $150 (Full Uniform (Shorts/Socks/Jersey - if not already purchased in previous seasons is $41 additional for U14 (2012) and younger), U15-U19 (2011-2007) ages will receive t-shirts as part of the registration).
If U15 (2011) players play on a combined U13/U14/U15 team due to not enough HS players, then they will need a full uniform which can be purchased after if they don't already own one.

Practices:
-Week Night -2 Evenings by Professional/Parent coaches at Gillis/Talmadge or Moulthrop Field
-First practice is TBA, expected to be end of March, though optional practices may happen earlier.

Games:
Saturdays/Sundays at EHYS Home Fields and other South Central District teams Home Fields.

-Uniform: Full Uniforms Required (except for High School teams) and can be used for MULTIPLE SEASONS. Ordered as part of the Registration Process if players don't have them from previous seasons.

2026 Spring High School Boys (U15-U19) Travel Team

For the High School Boys Program, players will register in this program. Once enough players register, we will invite players to complete registration (including payment).
